Google adds Undo Send Feature to Gmail for Android
The Gmail for Android App just got yet another cool feature — Undo send. From version 8.7 and forward, Gmail for Android would now be able to undo sent messages.
So on the off chance that you see something vital is absent ultimately, you have a couple of additional seconds to quickly turn around the message and fix things.
When you send a message, a small progress bar pops up at the bottom of the screen, with the word “Undo” on the right side.
From there you have less than 10 seconds to rescind, if you happened to mistakenly sent the message. It will bring you back to the body of that email as a draft.
Google’s undo send feature would apparently save a lot of people from embarrassing typos and mistakes in sent messages.
This feature works on Gmail for iOS App too
According to Android Police, This featured is being rolled out on Android devices for the Gmail App version 8.7+, which is correct.
I have personally tested this feature on the Gmail for iPhone app and found this feature present. Which means iOS users with version 5.0+ of the App can as well enjoy this new feature.
